As the Head of Global IT Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our worldwide IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance to support our global pharmaceutical operations.
- Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of the company's global IT infrastructure roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
- Manage a team of IT professionals responsible for network architecture, server infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and IT operations across 10+ geographic locations.
- Oversee Helpdesk and end user support organization, ensuring effective assistance and issue resolution for end-users.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans and processes to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and security.
- Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or compliance standards.
- Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate third-party services and technologies to meet business needs.
- Implement and operate ITIL-based standards and methodologies throughout the IT infrastructure.
- Solve complex problems related to IT infrastructure, providing strategic solutions and ensuring efficient resolution.
- Define and oversee IT infrastructure project management processes, providing leadership in project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Partner closely with the CIO and senior leadership in the development and execution of overall IT strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Information Technology.
- Proven Information Technology experience directly within a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) or pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated success leading an Information Technology Organization within the CDMO or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing complex global IT infrastructure projects.
- ITIL certification, with strong expertise in ITIL practices and methodologies
- Experience in leading or participating in overall IT strategy development and implementation.
- Experience in leading Information Security and Network strategy within an organization.
- Familiarity and experience with managing large IT infrastructure budgets.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance within the pharmaceutical industry, including GxP/GMP (Good Practices/Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
- Experience overseeing IT infrastructure across many geographic locations.
- Experience in overseeing IT Infrastructure aspects during M&A activities.
- Proven experience in cost and resource optimization within IT infrastructure management.
- Strong project management and oversight skills.
- End user support (Helpdesk) function management experience
- Expertise in disaster recovery program management.
- Experience in maturing Information Security programs (vulnerability management, strategy, response, etc
Preferred Qualifications
- Modern cloud certification preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Practitioner, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or other relevant certifications).
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $180,000.00 - $270,000.00 per year. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
