Job description:

Under general direction from the patrol sergeant and in accordance with established policies and procedures, incumbent assumes responsibility for the protection of life and property, through enforcement of laws and ordinances. Work normally consists of routine patrol, preliminary investigation, answering complaints, and traffic enforcement.

Additional information:

This department prides itself on top-of-the-line equipment for its officers. Currently, we have two cruisers and one e-bike. The equipment packages in our cruisers have new radar systems, computer systems, Noptic night vision camera systems, and LED light kits. We have a digital fingerprinting system.
