Job Description:
Mothers Against Addiction is seeking a dedicated Chief Operating Officer (COO) to manage our organization's daily operations and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This is a volunteer position, ideal for individuals passionate about making a significant impact in the fight against addiction and eager to gain valuable leadership experience.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Manage program coordinators and support services to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with the Interim CEO and other board members to achieve organizational goals.
• Support the development and implementation of programs and initiatives.
• Represent the organization at events and meetings.
• Prepare to transition into the CEO role, competing with the VP and CMO for the position.

Implementing SOPs:

• Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop comprehensive SOPs for all key operational activities.
• Train staff and volunteers on new procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Continuously monitor and refine SOPs to adapt to organizational growth and changes.

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, or Microsoft Office (or equivalent software).
• Experience in operations management or related fields.
• Passion for supporting families and individuals affected by addiction.
• Interest in eventually serving as CEO for a two-year term before transitioning to a board position.
