As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking a Sports Marketing Intern who will support the Corporate Marketing and Brand team on management of Corporate Partnerships with professional sports organizations. Will partner on strategy and delivery of marketing assets as well as integration of community activations. This is an onsite position based in San Diego, CA at our Summers Ridge location.

• Regular communication with sports marketing partner and QuidelOrtho

• Coordination on production of marketing assets with outside agency

• Management of ticket distribution to employees

• Development of community activations with sports team

• Perform other work-related duties as assigned

• The intern will present their work to a cross-functional group.

Required:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program majoring in Marketing

• Minimum Year in school: 3rd year or higher

• Minimum GPA: 3.0

• Ability to accept employment without sponsorship

• Understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Interns should be prepared to fully commit to the start and end dates of on or about May 22 through August 18, 2023.

Preferred:

• Experience in Sales or Marketing position

• Participation in competitive sports at high school or college level as either athlete, manager, or support staff

The pay range for the Internship Program is between $16/hour to $30/hour. The Pay rate will be determined by the year in school, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate. Benefits are not included for this position.
