We are looking for a Program Manager with a Secret clearance or higher to join our Naval Surface Warfare Center Team!

As a Program Manager, you will:
- Serve as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and program/project issues.
- Oversee contractor personnel program/project operations by developing operational procedures.

A week in the life of a Program Manager:
- Plan and direct execution of the technical, programming, maintenance and administrative support efforts.
- Manage acquisition and employment of program/project resources and controls financial and administrative aspects of the program/project with respect to contract requirements.
- Direct efforts of team(s) to include contractors at multiple locations.
- Regularly brief senior leadership on program/project status and milestones.
- Assist our customer in the development of management plans and strategies
- Milestone planning and tracking
- Evaluate program schedules, and deliverables
- Create and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule as well as develop technical program planning and control documents such as our monthly Management Report
- Assist in preparing and coordinating the agenda to meetings, prepare presentation materials, host and/or participate in actual meeting and drafting their subsequent minutes and action items.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
- At least ten (10) years of relevant professional engineering management experience to include at least six (6) years of professional experience in Defense acquisition, and a minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience.
- MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science or a related scientific or technical discipline.
- In lieu of a MS degree, we will also accept BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science or a related scientific or technical discipline and an additional four (4) years of relevant experience. These four (4) years of experience are in addition to the required minimum of ten (10) years to meet the "Experience" requirements, therefore, requiring a total of fourteen (14) years of experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the DoD 5000 series.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $100,000-$130,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
